Pascal Antony wurde am 21. April 1944 geboren, studierte in Straßburg und absolvierte Kurse an der "École des arts décoratifs de Strasbourg" zwischen 1960 und 1964. Anschließend hat er in Florenz gelebt und im Atelier des Malers Primo Conti an der "Academia di Bella Arti" gearbeitet. Er hatte dort Kontakt mit zahlreichen italienischen Künstlern und vervollständigte so seine künstlerische Ausbildung. Pascal Antony malt figurativ und ordnet sich der klassischen Tradition zu. Er findet bezug zur Technik der alten Meister im Bereich der Ölmalerei. Daneben fertigt er Aquarelle und verbindet klassische mit neuen Ansätzen. Als Mitglied von AIDA (Association indépendante des artistes d'Alsace) gab er bereits zahlreiche Ausstellungen im Elsaß und im Ausland.

Né à Paris le 21 avril 1944, Pascal Antony a fait ses études à Strasbourg et a suivi les cours de l'école des arts décoratifs de Strasbourg entre 1960 et 1964. Puis il a journé à Florence durant six ans, où il a travaillé dans l'atelier du peintre Primo Conti à l'Academia di Bella Arti. Il y a fréquenté de nombreux artistes italiens et étrangers et a complété ainsi sa formation artistique. Pascal Antony est un peintre figuratif se situant dans une tradition classique. Il se réfère aux maîtres anciens, à leurs techniques dans le domaine de la peinture à l'huile. Il travaille essentiellement l'huile et le pastel. Il nous propose une vision à la fois classique et neuve. Membre de l'AIDA (Association indépendante des artistes d'Alsace), il a déjà exposé de nombreuses fois, à Strasbourg comme à l'étranger.

Pascal Antony was born on 21 April 1944, studied in Strasbourg/France and completed courses at the "École des arts décoratifs de Strasbourg" between 1960 and 1964. After that he lived in Florence/Italy where he worked in the studio of the painter Primo Conti at the "Academia di Bella Arti". There he had contacts to a lot of Italian artists and this way completed his arts studies. Pascal Antony paints figuratively and assigns himself to the classic tradition. He referres to the technique of the old masters when it comes to oil painting. Besides he does water colors and connects classical aspects with new ones. As a member of AIDA (Association indépendante des artistes d'Alsace) he has already held numerous Painting-exhibitions in Alsace/France and abroad.
Courses in small groups, twice a week: Thursday and Saturday afternoon in Strasbourg/Alsace.
